2025 Genesis GV90 electric SUV spied for first time

Genesis, the luxury automaker, has been caught testing their latest full-size electric SUV, the GV90. This beast of a vehicle has a signature split bar design for its headlights and taillights, as well as a sleek sealed grille.

The rear fascia has some curious cutouts, but it seems the powertrain is being kept under wraps for now. With this big and bold new addition to their lineup, Genesis is sure to turn some heads in the electric SUV game.

The GV90 is set to debut next year or early 2025, with some unique design tweaks that set it apart from the GV80.

The back section is longer and the side windows have a one-of-a-kind look. And check out those rear doors with not one, but two pieces of glass! Plus, the chrome trim is even more stylish, gradually climbing towards the back. Originally set for 2023, the GV90 is expected to hit the market late next year or in 2025. Korean media first broke the news in 2021, and now we’re eagerly awaiting its arrival on the scene.

The new Hyundai GV90 SUV may hit our roads soon! Hyundai Motor Group’s Metaplant is almost complete in Georgia, and it’s the perfect location for production. The first GV90 vehicles could be out by early 2025.

But wait, there’s more! The GV90 is built with HMG’s latest and greatest IMA platform. No more different batteries for different cars, the IMA comes with a standard battery. Plus, it’s designed with five types of motors and key chassis components, all to make production smoother and more efficient.

While Genesis hasn’t announced the release of a GV90, it’s expected to have third-row seating and a range of at least 300 miles, putting it in competition with other luxury electric SUVs like the recently announced Cadillac Escalade IQ and Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV.

But that’s not all – Genesis has big plans for the future with a promise to launch only EVs starting in 2025 and at least six EVs in its lineup by 2030, including four SUVs. Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming Gravity SUV from Lucid, set to debut this November!
