Buick Wildcat Design Study Shocks with Improved Looks!

Buick should have stuck with that sizzling burnt orange shade!

The first look at the latest Buick Wildcat model was revealed by the General Motors Design studio. Does it look like a real trendsetter? The Wildcat EV Concept is what sets the stage for the brand’s new design style and is already inspiring fresh creations like the 2024 Envista.

Buick takes this moment to signal goodbye to its older sedan models like LaCrosse and Regal and hello to new electric crossovers. Plus, they even have a new logo to signify this new phase.

The crazy thing is that the animated car shown in the video was used to persuade Buick to make the concept in the first place! That car design looks way more fit for production than what Buick decided on. We personally think that animated cars are prettier than the fairly radical concept they settled on.

While the original design may have been a snooze fest with its boring gray color and outdated chrome detailing, we can’t get enough of the sleek new orange hue.

And that’s not all – the design team went back to the drawing board and made some major improvements to the rear of the car. They scrapped the old flat tail light element and opted for wider and more aggressive lights that extend up the sides of the rear windshield. Plus, they added a slim LED brake light at the top of the rear window for extra flair.

We can’t wait to see what other surprises Buick has in store for us.

Wildcat on the open road, looking amazing! It could’ve given Cadillac’s Celestiq a run for its money if Buick had decided to build it. Speaking of Buick, they’re finally making moves. Remember when we all forgot about them? Not anymore.

They’ve got the new Envista and a Chinese-built Electra arriving next year. And get this, there might even be a new performance car coming from Buick! But they still have a long way to go before becoming the go-to choice for fancy Americans.
