Tesla’s not just trolling Ford, they’re now poking fun at Toyota too!
In a bold move, Tesla’s Cybertruck disguised as a Toyota Tundra has taken the internet by storm. With a hilarious wrap that makes the electric vehicle look like a Tundra from afar, the Cybertruck Owners Club member who first discovered it caused a stir online. Maybe this is Tesla’s way of hiding the Cybertruck from the public eye while showcasing its unique style?
Elon Musk challenged his designers to create something “cool,” and it’s clear that the Cybertruck fits the bill – even if it’s not your traditional boring truck.
Tesla has been caught in another act of undercover sneakiness! A Cybertruck was seen rocking a Ford F-150 costume in July. Sneaky Tesla likes to cover their unique designs with a competitor’s look until it’s time to hit the market.
Ford and Tesla have a friendly competition going on and have taken jabs at each other. Ford’s CEO Jim Farley threw shade by saying the Cybertruck is only for flashy people in Silicon Valley.
It seems the Cybertruck was taking too long to hit the market, with several rivals already in the race. But now, Tesla is back on track and will most likely make up for lost time.
Tesla’s Cybertruck is going to be a hit with many fans eagerly waiting to pre-order, but there’s a small problem. The frunk, a front trunk, is disappointingly smaller compared to other similar trucks. But we can only know for sure when Tesla releases the official figures.
Creating a truck with such a unique shape comes with challenges during the pre-production process, but Elon Musk has made it clear that build quality is of utmost importance. In a leaked email, Musk demanded that the Cybertruck have sub-10-micron accuracy. He compared the accuracy to that of low-cost items like LEGO and soda cans.
We can’t help but wonder if there will be any more humorously disguised Cybertrucks out there. If Tesla decides to poke fun at its rivals, we might just see some hilarious wraps for the Rivian, Chevy Silverado, and GMC Hummer EV.
