Porsche just revealed the 2024 Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid and Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe. They’re replacing the older Turbo models and they’re hybrids, except for the Turbo GT Coupe. The new models have a twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor, giving them a combined total of 729 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque. That’s 59 horsepower more than the older Turbo S E-Hybrid.
Porsche’s latest model, the Turbo GT, has the speed to get your heart racing at a 0-60mph time of 3.1 seconds and top speed of 183 mph. Even with less power than its predecessor, it’s faster due to being lighter. The Turbo E-Hybrid now has a bigger battery, with a measurement of 25.9kWh, and with a new 11kW on-board charger, it should reduce the charge time to under two and a half hours. No word yet on the range, but with its predecessor managing to go 13 miles on a smaller battery pack, we expect great things.
Porsche has equipped all Turbo E-Hybrid models with air suspension that’s so fancy, it can adjust the car’s softness or firmness to either Comfort or Sport Plus mode. And it doesn’t stop there! These bad boys come standard with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, which will keep your car balanced on the road. You can even add optional upgrades like Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control and rear-axle steering.
But wait, there’s more! Step inside the Turbo E-Hybrid and you’ll find upgrades galore. There’s an available passenger display and aluminum trim on the dash and doors. Plus, a Race-Tex roof liner will give your ride an extra boost of style. As for seating, these cars come standard with 18-way adjustable leather Sport seats, but you can choose 14-way Comfort seats if you’re feeling luxurious.
The new Turbo E-Hybrid is hot off the press and easy to spot with its sleek black air intakes, colored wheel arches, and vibrant red brake calipers. Plus, those two shiny aluminum tailpipes sound awesome…except when it’s running on electric mode.
If you’re thinking of splurging on this car, the good news is the price tag won’t break the bank at $146,900 for the regular model or $151,400 for the Coupe version. And let’s not forget, that’s a steal compared to the Turbo GT, which will set you back $196,300. So, don’t waste any time – start placing those orders now because deliveries begin in Q2 2024.
