Manual Torque Control Added to Next-Gen Lamborghini!

The Lamborghini Lanzador unveiled at Monterey Car Week may feature mind-blowing torque vectoring technology. And guess what? It could hit the roads in 2028! According to the CTO of Lamborghini, the Lanzador packs a punch with some clever features that will make driving a Lamborghini an even more thrilling experience. This could be the first fully electric Lamborghini we’ve been waiting for.

Have you ever seen those paddles behind the steering wheel and wondered what they’re for? Well, they’re not just for show. It’s a way to control the rear axle’s torque vectoring while you’re driving. It’s not like the simulated gearbox you find on the Ioniq 5 N, but rather a better way to handle the vehicle.

According to Mohr from The Drive, electric torque vectoring has less time delay compared to combustion drivetrains, making it easier to handle and do what you want immediately.

Torque vectoring tech now in demand, makes your car supercharged with a smart computer system. It channels power to each wheel to get a stronger grip, for smoother driving and enhanced performance, even in tricky terrains. Feel the rush of improved acceleration and take the reins with ease.

Lamborghini is spicing up their cars by giving drivers the power to control their torque vectoring system with the pull of a paddle. This means you can maneuver your car with precision and move torque from one side to the other while you take on the tightest corners. And BMW isn’t being left behind – they’re working on specialized torque vectoring for their all-electric M3.

Lamborghini knows that copying gas-guzzling cars isn’t the answer. They need to do something new and special with their electric cars. The Chief Technology Officer says copying the best gas cars means you’ll always be second best. Instead, they want to make electric cars that drive differently from anything else out there.

Lamborghini’s electric sports car, the Lanzador, is set to arrive in five years. Though perfecting the car will take time, the company is already working on its production. The Lanzador will feature an adjustable torque vectoring system, which should appeal to enthusiasts who love spirited driving. Even though some buyers may only use the car for posing, we’re excited to see Lamborghini’s commitment to producing high-performance electric vehicles.
