Volvo is going electric and entering the minivan game with the EM90! It’s set to be unveiled on Nov. 12 and will only be sold in China. Sorry U.S. buyers, no EM90 for you! But, don’t worry, with the SUV craze in America, you won’t miss it too much. The EM90 looks sleek and practical, doubling as a mobile lounge or workspace.
Volvo’s sister brand Zeekr is bringing the heat with their high-end EVs! Their 009 minivan is set to hit the streets, based on their popular debut model from last year. The brand has been making waves in China with their 001 hatch, and just recently expanded to select European countries.
Volvo’s upcoming electric vehicles are set to pack a powerful punch with their use of Geely’s SEA platform. The 009 model boasts a stunning 534 horsepower thanks to its dual motors, while the EM90 is expected to offer similar performance. Both vehicles are part of Volvo’s plan to release six new EVs by 2026, including a subcompact crossover, mid-size SUV, compact car, and two sedans.
